Relax with the Jew talk. This persectution of Jews in the early Islamic world is greatly exaggerated. Jews rose to predominant positions in Islamic society. They were in the Islamic military and had government positions. If religion was was greatly antagonistic towards the Jews were Christians. There was no greater crime commited against the Jews as the holocaust by the action of Christains and the inaction of Christains in Germany, Poland and even America that turned away refugee Jews from entering America.

Not very good Christians – by culture only, not by faith, but your admonition is fair enough. "The Jews killed Jesus" comes (probably unintentionally) from St. Augustine and has plagued the Jews down the centuries. Mohammad acted in the context of his current society. You seem to forget that the message he was giving of one God made the polytheists angry and they tried to kill him in battles in which Muhammad was greatly outnumbered. You also seem to forget that prophets in the old testament fought similar battles against their enemies. Such actions you would consider criminal. I urge you to read the old testament.

Most Christians take the OT as history only – not a guide to how to live your life. Don’t forget Jesus did say he came with a sword.

"I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Indeed. But not a sword of steel – a message that was uncomfortable for the rich and the hypocrites. Take care.

Islam is formed around a book that a man has persuaded his associates (many also bandits) was dictated to him by an Angel. That man used this book to justify his persecution of the Jews, his taking of their possessions and his taking of any woman he chose. These events are not in dispute. Would you even buy a used car from such a man? Really? A thoroughly invidious comparison. Tell a child to "do as I say, not as I do", and they instantly see you for what you are – a hypocrite. Live an exemplary life and children will respect you and do as you say.
