Response:
Why are you even discussing Hinduism? It’s a tiny, pathetic religion which has very little influence on the world, unlike, say, Islam or Christianity, and, besides, all polytheists will go to hell. Bah.

you do realize that these are all outdated man made verses? even the rig veda was written by a man. and manusmirti is the most rejected of all hindu law makers, today. hinduism is versatile and shifts and changes as the times change. nothing is written in stone. it’s an evolving system of beliefs that just keeps learning from it’s mistakes and keeps getting better. more like a science than a religion in it’s ability to recognize mistakes and correct upon them once they are known. peace shelley WOMEN IN HINDUISM "Men must make their women dependent day and night, and keep under their own control those who are attached to sensory objects. Her father guards her in childhood, her husband guards her in youth, and her sons guard her in old age. A woman is not fit for independence." — Manusmrti 9:2-4.
