hey everyone, i plan on being in colorado for a couple months this summer and was wondering if there was any good whitewater near denver/boulder or anywhere within a 45 minute drive of denver. anything class 2-4 would be cool.. thanks for your help! huan

In Denver - Union Chutes, Miracle Wave (Chatfield), Confluence Park, Bear Creek (when it is running but CLASS V)… In Golden, Clear Creek (several runs from Class II to Class V) In Boulder, Boulder Creek, South Boulder Creek (Class V) In Fort Collins, Poudre (Class II to Class VI) Also of note: North Fork of the South Platte (Foxton Run Class III – IV, Baily Canyon Class IV-V-VI) South Platte, Deckers Run Class II, Waterton Canyon Class III-IV St Vrain Big Thompson and just a couple of hours out of town are the Colorado, Eagle, Arkansas and others.
