Question:

but ‘judaism’ is not christianity here’s a, somewhat, brief version of a, somewhat, long story. just focusing in on a specific aspect; what is "jew" and how does it relate to "Juda-ism"? skipping ahead, Abraham’s grandson was named Jacob. his name was changed to Israel. Israel had 12 sons. One son was named "Judah" Judah means "Praised of YHWH" so, after about 400 years in bonded toil in Egypt, Israel is released and is what shall be called a "nation" this "nation" is comprised of twelve smaller subsets called "tribes" one tribe for each of the sons of Israel. one tribe called "Judah" now "Judah" is not just a son of Israel but an entire tribe of Israelites. mind you, there are 11 other tribes of Israelites who are not "Judah" anyway, in aggregate, the tribes get referred to as "ites" that is, "Judah-ites" "Benjamin-ites" "Asher-ites" etc-ites. in hebrew, the term "Judah-ite" is "Y’hudim" and this term means "men of Judah" so, that is what a "Judah-ite" is, a "man of Judah" of course, women are "men of Judah" as well. so, that term is found in the early writings of the hebrew authors. "Judah-ite" "Y’hudim" "men of Judah" alright, so, the entire people of Israel, Judah included, rejects YHWH as "King" and Saul and then David is chosen from among the people to represent them. so, now, you have what is called "The Kingdom of Israel" oh, by the way, the "Levites" had no land grant and were travelling priests. that gets a mention in a bit. so anyway, there’s a lot of a lot of erecting that cultural totem i spoke of earlier, the "Baals", and YHWH splits the Kingdom of Israel in to two pieces, The Kingdom of Israel with capital in Samaria to the north and the Kingdom of Judah with capital in Jerusalem to the south. well, first off, the tribe of the Bejamin-ites stays south with the tribe of Judah, and the Levite priests also stay south to have free access to Jesrusalem and the Temple. so now, you have a nation called "Judah" which is populated by tribes other than Judah-ites. anyway, the Northern Israel keeps Baal-ing and YHWH sends the Assyrians to cart them off. a remnant of each tribe stays south and the rest are all carted off in to obscurity. anyway, Judah is now a nation -and- one specific tribe. so now, anyone living in Judah is by default, a "Judah-ite" and so, a Levite and a Benjamin-ite and any of the remnant of Israel who live in Judah are now, defacto "jews" by the time of the return from Babylon, much tribal integrity is lost and all are called "Y’hudim" not because they became members of the -tribe- of Judah, but because they lived in the -nation- of Judah. which is funny in that Paul says he is of the tribe of Benjamin, but refers to himself as a "Jew" but after Babylon, the actual Judah-ites began to exert more dominant role in Temple duties than was granted under Sinai. and -this- is the beginning of so-called "Judah-ism" anyway, there was an infusion of Babylonian mysticism and later Persian philosophies and later pan-Hellenism and much later Rome, into this "religion" which the Judah-ites had instituted after they seized major control of the Temple. and there were people all along who vehemently disagreed with this influx of "alien" idea strains into Temple worship. and in Jesus’ day, the Temple was practically just a barter house for the purchase of indulgences. and people were sick and sick people laid right outside the Temple entryway. anyway, this is a sort of short version. it is not correct to say that Abraham was a "jew" or practicing "Judah-ism" for the very simple fact that "Judah" wasn’t even born yet. and it is not correct to say that Moses handed the people "Judah-ism" from Sinai because Sinai specifies that priests shall come from the tribe of Levi. and Levi-ites and Judah-ites ain’t identical. there was no even a nation called "Judah" when Moses lived. etc.etc.etc. "Judah-ism" pretty much begins with the return from Babylon. and no ark of the covenant was present. no Mercy seat, no smoke filled temple Holy of Holies. and Antiochus IV Epiphanes spilled pigs blood in the Temple and erected a statue of Jupiter [or Zeus] in ca, 176 BC. the Maccabbees drove out the greeks but the religious Judah-ites in Jesus day were so in bed with the Roman civil authority that it wasn’t funny. and Jesus and Paul were not erecting totems to demonic worship. no. sure, some ‘looked’ to the throwing off of the yoke of the roman civil authority, but -not- the Temple magistrates. who were called "Jews" albeit, not all "Jews" are "Jews" "Judah-ite" "Y’hudim" "men of Judah" in case it wasn’t obvious, "Y’hudim" is the word translated as "Judah-ite" in early old testament stuff, and then translated as "Jew" beginning in Esther. Esther, by the way, is where the first "traditional" feast -not- ordained by YHWH in Torah gets its foundation that being "Purim" commemorates Haman, a guy who set out to kill all the jews. so, is Purim evil? no one has said this. but you can begin to see how a "religion" is beginning to take form that does not trace to Sinai, and, in some respects, seeks to distance itself from Sinai. like as if, Sinai is the source of trouble. some are simply dispersing in among the greeks and if it’s just a bunch of words, then you can call light "light" -and- darkness "light" and then claim it’s "light" outside at midnight. and it’s almost preferable to not even mention the Name…YHWH so, it’s almost as if, after the Macabbees people are staring into the sky and pretending to make nice eyes for YHWH in hopes that they can placate ‘that Monster.’ only that Monster ain’t a monster at all. and David seemed to be the only one who recognized the "tender mercies" of YHWH. but he’s also the one who pleads with YHWH not to remove the Holy Spirit from him. so, he knew better cuz he wasn’t judging what he didn’t know and hadn’t seen using his sensual fleshly mind but judging spiritual matters by and in the Spirit. the valley of dry bones may walk again but YHWH ain’t your enemy. YHWH is Savior. -this- little story goes on and on and on. but you may begin to realize that "Judaism" is itself some sort of "spin-off" religion that is based primarily on the so-called "traditions" of Talmud. anyway, back to Jesus; Jesus chided the ‘religious leaders’ of his generation for holding to the "traditions" of men and laying aside the command of God. Jesus said that the ‘worship’ of these people was ‘vain’ echos Isaiah — Matthew 15:1-9 [parallel mark 7] Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, "Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread." He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of  God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying, "Honor your father and your mother’; and, "He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ But you say, "Whoever says to his father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God"– then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: "These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips,  But their heart is far from Me.  And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."’ Isaiah 29:13 Therefore YHWH said: "Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, — me: Jesus gave several examples where those religious had set aside the law of God in favor of their own traditions. spoke of "Corban" [previous cite] also the assertion that making vows by the Temple meant nothing but that vows made by the gold in the Temple was binding. having a form of Godliness but bankrupt. — Matthew 23:14-20 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. "Woe to you, blind guides, who say, "Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.’ Fools and  blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? And, "Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.’ Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? 20Therefore he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. — me: and now, considering Paul, these are human traditions dressed up as a religion and that’s what Paul called "Judaism" Paul equates Judaism with "traditions of the fathers" Paul says he was zealous for the traditions of his fathers. — Galatians 1:13-14 For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it. And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. — me: Paul claimed his former life was as rubbish in light of Christ. — Philippians 3:1-11 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation! For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew … read more »

the Annointed [the] Messiah and [the] Christ as nearly anyone who is acquainted with the matter realizes, these terms are interchangeably synonymous. to get right to the punchline; Promises–Sinai–Judges–Kingdom–Prophets–Psalmist -this- thing right here, -is- a -Messianic- ‘religion’ and as such, -is- "christian" Moses was an Annointed of God [Numbers 11:17] David -is/was- The Annointed King the "old testament", or Torah and Tanakh if you like, is riddled with ‘messianic’ referrences. P-S-J-K-P-P is, therefore, a ‘christian’ religion. now, what is "The Annointed"? as i mentioned in the post, "the Lamb is the Lamp" a ’spirit’ is -like- a lamp which burns with oil. and YHWH’s own Spirit is that Light which human beings receive as ‘an annointing’ but anyway, what about "The Annointed" as it pertains to David and Jesus? it can be stated that YHWH ‘created’ "The Annointed" as an ‘office’ and even placed other beings in, and allowed other beings to hold, that ‘office’ with a subsequent intention of taking that ‘office’ to YHWH. and one may say this without ever implying that YHWH ceases to become ‘everlasting’ -when- YHWH steps into the ‘office’ of "The Annointed" which may be viewed as an ‘inception’ God invented "Christ" first for an Angelic host and then for man. no such ‘office’ is necessary for God alone. God -is- what the ‘office’ accomplishes. God -is- The Spirit of God what made Moses annointed was YHWH giving him a dose of the Ru’ach[Spirit] which made him Q’odesh[Holy, set apart] David was annointed and YHWH filled him with Ru’ach Q’odesh now, you can say that "Christ" -the office- came into being when God invented it, but you cannot say that God who -is- ‘Holy Spirit’ is invented when God steps into that Office. let’s say I invented the Title, ‘Chief Constable of the Baskervilles.’ the office and the duties of that office. I do not become the Chief Constable until i enter into that -office-, but I was not born yesterday. -i- can place another person into that office. In that case, the office brings a defining element to the person who now holds the office, but when -i- take the office that -i- created for myself -i- define the office. i say to -that- person; "carry out these duties of this office in such a manner" but when -i- take the office to myself, i need only be myself, and carry out duties which are in my nature to carry out i, who have an existance before the existance of the -office- itself. an -office- that was created for a specific purpose. Man was created and man is being offered up a bunch of things from God, and YHWH is taking the flesh to his own. not thru some lesser emissary but thru his very own indestructible life. now, we just tell you that the apparent duality of Mind and Word or Spirit and Word has always existed as the constituent make-up of the Godhead. that is, for ‘them’ you can’t tell ‘them’ apart. human beings are prone to mistruth which makes one’s mind and word non-identical. God -can not- lie because God’s Word -is- God’s Mind. -they- are One at any rate, the Children of Abraham are Messianic that makes a "Jew" who -does- The Law, and does not simply -talk- _about_ The Law, a "christian" hope this attenuates your vision somewhat. — 2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. —

for you understanding, "muthos" does not mean "lie" "muthos" means a thing ’spoken’ and i only stand here to speak of One God. the selfsame God i know personally. the selfsame God which is not my invention. i’m quite sure i can demonstrate to you an absolute necessity for a Creative Intelligence to have brought the material universe into being from not being. all based on the work of "educated and intelligent man" it’s a simple explanation and one that nearly anyone will be able to grasp.

there’s a bunch of disembodied spirits gathered around a small stone. ok, so, they’re all just looking at a stone. and God begins to speak, God says…. "now watch as we bring about the being, made of that same stuff as the stone …that can sit down, stand up, walk itself across the room and then sit back down all under its own volition."

If making a stone walk is impressive to you, thats fine. However, I’m most impressed by the wisdom of God. Instead of making a stone do things I didn’t know it could do, God makes me able to do good things that I didn’t know I could do – a much greater feat.

sure, the chemical make-up of human beings and stones have similarities. if you’ll notice, i say "we bring about the being" so, it’s not just a ’stone’ that walks, but a material object that is called a human being that resembles a stone and can sit down and walk across the room and sit down on the other side. some may suggest to you that Man was created -by- the "Wisdom of God" or at least, that this "Wisdom" had a large hand in the effort. i do indeed find this impressive. However, I’m most impressed by the wisdom of God.

great, then you should be quite impressed with the human being who is formed of the earthen matter and walks and talks and lives and breathes, and may even come in to some knowledge -of- that same "wisdom" that you find impressive. Instead of making a stone do things I didn’t know it could do,

well, this may amuse you; — Matthew 3:9 and do not think to say to yourselves, "We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. — apparently, God could raise people up from stones. even if you wish to cast this into metaphor, first consider the actual literal rendering. i’m glad for you, but your doing good things and God raising children from stones is not tremendously dissimilar. both are feats of God. and both are marvelous in our eyes.

God is having us on" and God says; "no, here, watch" and this blob of earth just gets up and walks across the pasture and sits down next to the babbling brook. and the spirits are dumbfounded. "wow, a stone that motivates itself; how utterly fascinating and nearly incredible, what an awesome God"

this mercy is letting you see that YHWH is Life and the source of all things good, and then leading you by the hand in to a fullness that is beyond your ability to recognize and realize for yourself. God is not picking at every little detail that distances you from God, and suggesting that this separation can never be overcome.

now you get in to all these bits about how God knows the heart and mind of the human beings and you cannot know the hearts and minds of each other. human beings are not able to empathize in a direct manner with each other. you get this problem set up whereby you only can know yourself and then you only can use that measuring wand to judge everyone else but even your self knowledge tends towards an incomplete understanding. and situations like these arise; you pick at shortfall in everyone else that you fail to see in your own self. obvious blindness. no mercy you imagine that everyone else has the same shortfall or trouble that you presently experience, and you let yourself off the hook and even seek to magnify that sense of shortfall in other people so you can feel more justified in letting yourself off the hook. and then, when that sense of your shortfall is firmly implanted within other people, you go back to judging them for carrying out a thing which you consider to be a wrong in everyone else except your own self. selective vision; you see what you want to see and not what you don’t want to see, and you don’t know what you want to see, still resembles blindness. no mercy you damn yourself in shortfall and believe that you are uniquely and tragically flawed, essentially removing all possibility of empathic understanding of anyone else, because you have assigned yourself as un-like anyone else in your own special shortfall. total internal reflection. in this case, seems like another form of blindness. no mercy there may be more such situations but we’ll stop at these. so, if these are working in some manner within the lives of all human beings, the overall effect can be nothing but damaging. it cannot, yet, even be relevant to suggest that people treat other people the way they would like to be treated themselves when they are not even able to recognize how they would like to be treated. the fact, is, that you do, already, treat other people in the very manner that you treat your self. and you have no mercy on yourselves, until you do but you don’t and you are trapped in this quagmire where you can show youself a false sense of mercy at the cost of condemning other people for your own special offense. a quilting bee of patchwork justifications. so, God -tells- you that such a thing as mercy is possible. and, at first, that’s all you have to go on. mercy exists. long story short, as God’s cleanses your consciousness of separatory shortfall, you can begin to see other people in that same light. now God is showing you mercy, and you can add that to your idea that something such as mercy may exist. now you see that mercy does exist. and with an increase in mercy, …peace walks in as well. real peace, not a bellicose cry for a cessation of open hostilities so you can go right back in to condemnation. and like charity, which begins in the household of God, the apple of your peace can feed a multitude. walk in that. mercy

Response:

and in an act of untold kindness, offers you Mercy. accept this life.

so, you accept God’s Mercy, so what? first, recognize that this mercy is not suggesting that you pursue the manner that would lead to death while expecting God to perpetuate your life from within this miserable state. this mercy is letting you see that YHWH is Life and the source of all things good, and then leading you by the hand in to a fullness that is beyond your ability to recognize and realize for yourself. God is not picking at every little detail that distances you from God, and suggesting that this separation can never be overcome. yes, there is a distinction you are not God but you may become like God. so now, how do you seek this good for yourself while simultaneously rooting out your self centered want? how do you seek to be like God without remaining exactly like who you already are? spiralling in to the abyss. God will accomplish a thing for you, and the only way you can fully appreciate this is by you doing something for God. the goal is that you lack nothing and attain that full stature of God in you, and the full stature of God is not a Being who makes perpetual requests for favors but One who perpetually seeks the Good for "the other" you want to learn how to dance on the head of a pin. and so, back to rudiments for a moment; as you would see progression, you would seem to get something for something, something from God in return for something from you, but the something that you offer up to God for that something in return from God, is something that God gave you in the first place, and further blessing will be predicated upon your rightly accepting and administering a previous blessing. "well, i ‘merited’ some good thing by virtue of my proper and useful acceptance of some thing that i could never have merited." yeah, sure, fine. you made a progression, cock-a-doodle-do, oops, now you slipped back under the water. just remember, even when you almost start to forget, God is and you do not proceed towards praise from human beings, even yourself. the way God praises you is by laying another new unmerited blessing upon you which draws you ever closer to God’s own personal identification. God sees you in appreciation of God’s benevolence and mercy, in thanksgiving and praise of God, and steps closer to you with a furtherance of that understanding of which you could never gain access by your desire to find out. this is your substance.

Mercy does not reside within the material nature, but YHWH can be every bit as strict and harsh as an unforgiving material nature. as Love, YHWH is the only True source of Mercy, but in the demand for Justice there is no wavering. matter knows no forgiveness. you can not reason with matter. when you fall from a great height, your bones will be crushed. and without ever having fallen, you know with a surety that to walk off a high place, you risk certain death, and so, you refrain. if you placed this much certainty in the words of your God, you would tread lightly about the serpent’s tail. but your God is more sure than a nickel plated revolver, and not one to be trifled with. it seems harsh, but you forget where you are, the material nature can not forgive, it is not possible for the material nature to forgive, forgiveness does not reside within the material nature, mercy does not live there. also, no injustice nor ill manner reside within YHWH, but all manners of YHWH are perfect towards Life. in fact, a split weight is abhorent to YHWH. you may not see your bones being crushed, in an instant, under the weight of your own unequal balances, your own merciless detachment from Love, but you do gather in the deadly stain and none can remedy. you do see your lives being torn from you. you do see your vital force ebbing away. you walk in a manner in which YHWH can not look upon nor take part, and thereby, you evict Life from your premises. you invite sickness and every ill manner upon yourselves. you do forsake that fountain of Living Waters and you do, make attempts at fashioning counterfeits which hold no water at all. and Mercy does not dwell in your midst. not even a token. so, what hope is their? same as ever, your hope resides within the very Mercy which is YHWH. YHWH swallowed whole that harsh and cruel reward that the human race has amassed for itself. the material nature has no mercy and has no forgiveness, and as such the entire human race may as well be anihilate. but YHWH, your Creator, your firmness, your steady and unmovable anchor, took the full brunt of an unforgiving nature in a cup filled with blood, drank it down to the dregs, and completed your destiny. and in an act of untold kindness, offers you Mercy. accept this life.
