Christianity QA » Christian God » Why Mormon Baptisms are Invalid
Question:
On Wed, 18 Jul 2001, "JCarew" smoked my sorry cornpewter with this blazing revelation: Such divergence in doctrine implies, Father Landaria said, that the Mormon minister does not have the intention, when baptizing, of doing what the Catholic Church does when it confers baptism
The Mormon doesn’t believe in the Christian God, but in three gods who were once like us. As a teenager in the Mormon Church, I heard this phrase many times: "As Man is, God once was. As God is, Man may become." It wasn’t until I became Christian that I realized that this is pure blasphemy. With this belief, the Mormon minister can’t give a Christian baptism. — http://www.vim.org – the ancient VIM 3.0 is *MY* OffLineNewsReader
