Question:

<Oh, so *that’s* your problem. It’s always the religious nuts, isn’t it? Oh for goodness sake, I am not a religious nut, I just think that’s its silly to rule out something that can help due to a dislike for the Christian belief.  Maybe your problem is that you aren’t.

Don’t be provocative, Arthur – ‘Silly Bitch’ won’t understand that. She is at that age where she knows everything ;) — Gary Cooper

Whatever makes you think I dislike Christian beliefs? I just happen to loathe, despise and excoriate fundamentalists and evangelists. They start wars and they kill people. Compared with them, tape worms are benign. You wouldn’t happen to *be* one, would you? — Gary Cooper

Response:

I agree.  And I very much liked what your husband, Hawk had to say about the Wiccan posts. I saw how you tried to ignore, but I guess there comes a point when you are simply being "baited" and you then have to explain your poisition simply because of that. I think, IMO, that was what happened. I guess it is equivalent to someone saying they hated Zoloft. I could understand that, have no problem with differences of opinions. But to continue reposting the same hatred for it over and over I suppose would make me want to take a stand. What do you do for your daughter, may I ask? My son has mild panic attacks, migraines, and is also Oppositional Defiant Disorder (Yes, there is such a label! LOL). He is classic perfectionist, stubborn, strong-willed, loving, caring, critical , pessimistic personality– type "A" I believe??I find myself constantly arguing, fighting, debating…. I know this isnt the panic, obviously… I went off subject- sorry- REALLY bad day here with him! If you would prefer I went to email, please let me know…. ~~Miriam~~ "Knock the ‘im’ out of impossible"         (Lord Baden-Powell, "father" of the scouting movement) – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text –

And that is ALL I did. No more. Then, I let it go. Wish more people would do the same. What do you do for your daughter, may I ask? Well, she is just about to turn five and our M.D. is also a homeopath. We have used homeopathics and they seemed to have worked very well for her. We also did some "desensitization" exercises to help when she feels dizzy. My daughter is also a little "lawyer". She tends to want to argue, debate, etc. We have clamped down rather hard on this behavior. If she continues to argue with us, she wins a time-out. My daughter is also a prefectionist, but lazy at the same time. She has to be doing something SHE wants to do. <G But, I guess, in some ways, we are ALL like that. If you would prefer I went to email, please let me know….

If you’d like to talk via e-mail, please, feel free to e-mail me. Best Wishes, Jen

If your mind is obsessed with thoughts of insecurity and inadequacy it is,
of course due to the fact that such ideas have dominated your thinking over
a long period of time.  Instead of thinking fear thoughts of defeat and
ineffectiveness, think thoughts of faith and courage.  If you think defeat
then you are bound to feel defeated.  But practice thinking positive
thoughts and, make it a dominating habit, and you will develop such a strong
sense of capacity that whatever difficulties arise you will be able to
overcome them.  Imagine a mental picture of yourself succeeding.  Never
think of yourself a failing and never doubt the reality of this picture.
Whenever a negative thought comes into your mind, deliberately voice a
positive thought to cancel it out.  Put yourself in God
