you twist things as much as the camel crap. I can’t say as i have ever seen the rod used in reference to the penis in the bible. Or is that your own personal interpretation? Sexual abuse by the clergy is not e religous matter nor is it a sexual matter. i certainly have never heard of a christian or jewish clergyman sending a child to a madrass as the muslems do. I was beaten regularely as a child and it didn’t hurt me any. I have never collected welfare, been unemployed or had any run-ins with the law. Or has anyone forgotten "REPRESSED MEMORY SYNDROME!" We, as Americans, are often subjected to these issues on an every day basis/account as these horrific crimes end up in conversation at our work places, frinds and relatives homes or even at our places of worship in a Prayer/lorica. Yes usually after a small child has become victim to an explosive parents physical, or sexual abuse that leads to that poor child or even children being laid to rest by the childs/childrens surving loved ones who then must also not only say goodbye but also try to heal from thier sorrows, through many years of of therapy perhaps, trying to understand what went wrong in their lives that could allow such a horrible thing to happen to thier family. I must also point out that when a Christian family uses the Bible as thier choice of dicipline towards thier children , they should should really think about thier actions. I do understand that the Bible may be the belief structure of many families and it does mandate the dicipline of children. But… remember Proverb 13:24 is nothing more than a sanctioning of suggestiveness at best. NOT PART OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS! Many parents take the heeding the Holy Scriptures in the Bible to far or as the only truth that may even supersede our Goverment’s Laws reflecting child abuse. The Bible has been used to justify the abuse and in some instances is taken so literally as to set NO LIMIT on how far a parent or Legal guardian can go to abuse a Naughty child. So now I wish to expose this destructive Biblical teaching so that MAYBE, JUST MAYBE I may prevent a child from being abused or even killed by a ritualistic barbarity that the Bible can teach. This chapter of Denial of Truth go out to all you People of the Cloth that study their Bibles FANATICALLY, you will know exactly what I speak of when addressing PROVERB 13:24. Yes where the ROD was written to be used as a tool of dicipline:  " HE THAT SPARETH HIS ROD,HATETH HIS SON  BUT HE THAT LOVETH HIM CHASTEM HIM BE TIMES." In my research of the Scriptures that are written in Proverbs, I decided that I would address a few issues . The first fact I must clearly point out to you my readers is that a very clear message is portrayed in regards to the rod to be used as a tool of punishment on a parent’s son . This clearly states as a punishment directed at the masculine gender specifically. And not also forgetting as a love punishment  to boot! The Scripture in Proverb implies most assuredly that the farther was/is to use the rod to chastenhis son out of love. I must wonder if this is the major Christian men abuse thier son’s more often then thier daughters on a Nation wide scale. At least that is the facts presented on many national child abuse reports that you can obtain in most public libraries. These lists cover families from all walks of life and religious denominations. The end results pinpoint that most of these children are of a Christian Faith and almost all of the abuse had taken place while the children were INFANTS to around age TEN YEARS OLD. Now this does clear up a lot of that Church preached nonesence that pagans are the people who are the most likely to abuse thier children now doesn’t it People of the Cloth? The facts in all reality are that the least instances of abuse has been perpertrated by Pagan/Wicca families. The odds are overwhelming even stunning- 1 case 250,000 pagan families are abusive compared with 1 in  3,500 Christian families have had a abuser of sexual, mental, or physical abuse reported. I must admit freely that the number of young girls that report abuse may have been higher if Proverb 13:24 had also suggested sparing the rod that was written towards abusing a person’s daughter instead of only the son. I would now enjoy pointing out to you my many readers the 2 words that are written in the Bible "CHASTEN" and "ROD" could easily be left open to simple debate and not only the ignorant interpretations of those given words in the Holy Scriptures. In saving good clause to my argument, the words "chasten" and "rod" actually possess several different distinctive meanings.  The foolish attempt for Christians to translate the Bible into Engish has been futile and one sided to any type of accuracy when using Latin,Greek or Hebrew as the languages of as thier actual basis. The translation of Proverb 13:24 can let’s say lead to many different meanings. So now I’ll give to you my many readers, 5 distinct choices that could provide you with very different results to the very translation of the Hebrew word known to you BIBLICALLY AS ROD. 1. Tribe: A group of people. 2.Scepter: A jewleled and lighted symbol of aothority used by Kings and Rulers to lead people. 3.Stick: Literal interpretation of rod as a long, slender branch or twig. 4. Staff: A rod with a curved top designed and used by shepherds to lead and direct sheep. 5. Guidance: Symbolic for leadership and direction, comfort, and dicipline. Oh and I’ll give a bonus word for rod just for fun. Even though it does not truly translate into Hebrew under Rod! 6. Penis: This "Rod" is used by Catholic Priest’s who are sexually frustrated, to sodomize little boys behind the closed door of the confessionals. Denial of Truth Ch. 7 Proverbs The Old Testaments Excuse for Child Abuse How many times do you pick up a newspaper or watch telivision these days and see the horrible scene where a child was severely injured or even killed by their parents, relatives, or even foster parents under the Deparment of Social Services custody?
