Question:

- Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – you wrote. Our sins are gone. God erased our sins eternally on the day Christ died. Sins no longer exist for those who have their faith in Jesus Christ. This is the precise freedom for which the world longs, but is prevented from receiving because of pride. That is a complete and utter LIE! Your sins are permanently erased when you have confessed, repented and stop sinning. If you CHOOSE to sin again, you CHOOSE to DO EVIL against GOD, and if you have NO remorse for this action, no sorry for your careless selfishness, NO grief because you have NO respect for GOD, and couldn’t care less what you subject HIM to in your actions, then WHY should GOD forgive you and erase these sins and evil against Him? When you sin, you spit in the face of Christ hanging on that cross. Obviously, anyone who believes that their continual careless sinning is erased because they accepted Christ as their Savior, GOD IS NOT REAL TO THEM. They do NOT KNOW HIM. They do NOT care about Him, they do NOT LOVE HIM, and they are NOT His children.

You DO NOT kow what you are TALKING ABOUT. You can use your free will to CHOOSE not to sin. That way you DON’T NEED GOD. We can’t sin against God. There is nothing we can do to upset God because we can only be WHAT GOD MADE US. If God did not want us to be the way we are he would not have MADE US as we are. Besides, there is no reason why we should care about God because GOD DOES NOT CARE ABOUT US. — Dore

Devotional Guide For the week of February 23, 2003 How Death Died How sin becomes gone To Read: Exodus 8-10 To Know: "And you, who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, having canceled the bond which stood against us with its legal demands; this he set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in him. (Col. 2:13-15) My first computer lacked an automatic save function. In order to protect the work in progress it was necessary to operate the save command every few minutes. The lurking danger was the threat of an unexpected power outage. In 1985, I was writing my doctoral thesis on a crisp and clear summer afternoon when the power failed without warning. Nearly ten pages of extremely complicated text disappeared in an instant. "Don’t panic yet", one of the computer experts in the church advised me. He went to work and found my work had been preserved deep in the bowels of the computer. It was not actually gone. Our sins are gone. God erased our sins eternally on the day Christ died. Sins no longer exist for those who have their faith in Jesus Christ. This is the precise freedom for which the world longs, but is prevented from receiving because of pride. To Answer: Do we understand that on the cross God cut us off from the tyranny of our flesh? Do you know that the Christian faith is this, that God considers the life, death and resurrection of Jesus to be our own? Saturday: Exodus 11-13 Sunday: Exodus 14-16 02283$-02143
