Question:

Me, I take the commandment literally:  "spare the rod and spoil the child." I don’t hit my kids, and I do spoil them.  If God’s got a problem with me not hitting my kids, he can give me a call. — Joel Rosenberg       | For news about upcoming books,  | My opinions are mine.

Response:

blah blah blah… Someone please wake me up!

Response:

Very nice poem, Katilyn. Very sad, but very common, I’m afraid. (The attitude, not the poem, of course. :-)  ) -CHILDREN SHOULD BE SEEN NOT HEARD -Sit there pretty as can be -Sit there nice so all can see -Your just a trophy on the wall -But be careful or you’ll fall -Sit there quite, hush not a sound -Sit there still don’t look around -Your just a trophy on the sill -Shhh you must sit very still -Here I sit, quite as can be -Praying you’ll look inside for Me -Hush that crying deep inside -Holding the anger I must hide –          by Someone (inside of Kaitlyn) –          copyright 11/94 — Peace… Val
