If the book of Daniel is studied and the time prophecies, certain world political events were prophesied and came to pass. Such as the establishment and overthrowing of different nations such as Babylon, Greece, Medio Persia etc.. The Messiah is also prophesied in a time period. "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks:…." Daniel 9:25. The period begins with the command to restore and build Jerusalem. Ezra 1:1-4 – The first part given by Cyrus 536 BC Seven weeks and 62 weeks, or 483 years reached to the Messiah. Subtracting 456 1-2 years from 483 leaves 26 1-2 AD or 27 AD the date for the Messiah. John 1:41. The Hebrew word Messiah in English is anointed; the 483 years reached to the Anointed one. Dan 26, 27, In the midst of the 70th week, Messiah "was to be cut off" and "cause the sacrifice to cease." You have posted this before. Having read all of the Bible several times, I am truly amazed at the blindness of those who refuse to see Jesus as the fulfillment of all the messianic prophecies

You have posted this before. Having read all of the Bible several times, I am truly amazed at the blindness of those who refuse to see Jesus as the fulfillment of all the messianic prophecies from Genesis to Malachi. One can piece together the entire life and purpose of Jesus from reading the OT. One can even determine the approximate time of His ministry on Earth from the OT. (Some say that the exact time may be determined from a right understanding of OT prophecy.) The next time you read the OT, ask the Father to reveal to you the Messiah.
