Question:

It is a cult by defination.  It is wrong because it teaches salvation by works.  By some definations every good Christian is a cult member.  If thats the case though Im proud to be a cult member because if believing in Christ makes me a cult member so be it.  I do not like the SDA, I am a Christian, bible believing and baptist.

I agree – James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? What works are they talking about?  It is not the sacrifices, they already established they are done away with.  I believe it to be the keeping of the Ten Commands – loving and helping our fellow man – those are the works that I see.  The Ten Commands, including the Sabbath, were not abolished in my book.  I do not fully agree with the SDA either – but each to his/her own.  I attend the Seventh Day Baptist. I believe that no matter what religon you are as long as you love the Lord with your heart.. you are good to go.. GOd never said that only Baptists are going to heaven or protestants.. and such.. It doesn’t matter if they worship on Saturday, sunday .. Thursday..and so forth.. as long as they love the Lord.. Shannon – Let’s all hope,for all our sakes, that you are right.  If the Sabbath is the only day that YHVH will honor, then everyone else is in big trouble.  If on the other hand, YHVH despises the Sabbath, then those that keep the Sabbath as a day of worship will be in big trouble.  If YHVH says that it does not matter which day is to be observed, then we are all "good to go" – at least in one sense.  There is alot more to it than the day – Jeff – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I believe that no matter what religon you are as long as you love the Lord with your heart.. you are good to go..
